Shannon Scott

Shannon Scott is the most recent addition to High South Realty.  Shannon brings extensive marketing and sales experience to High South Realty, in addition to her impressive real estate skills.  Shannon has always been interested in sales, even in high school she knew that was the career for her.  “I love interacting with people and seeing the excitement on their faces when I help them find what they are looking for.  I believe that a sale is about finding a need and meeting that need.”   

Shannon spent several years working as a medical sales representative before joining her husband’s construction business.   For 10 years, Shannon and her husband, Shane, have managed and operated Shane Scott Construction, which recently partnered with Riverside Log Cabins.  The company is a popular log cabin builder in Ashe County.   It was during this time that Shannon decided to combine her sales experience with her passion for real estate and obtained her real estate license.  “Working in real estate is a truly enjoyable experience, I have always been a very determined individual and I am always eager to help my clients make their dreams come true by finding them that perfect home.”   

Shannon is a native of Ashe County and can’t imagine living anywhere else.  “I was lucky enough to be born here and I’m smart enough to know to stay.”   She believes there is no place in the world like Ashe County, the people are so friendly here and the area is so rich in natural beauty.  It is a pleasure to simply call Ashe County home.   Shannon loves showing first time buyers all that Ashe County has to offer.    

When she is not working, Shannon enjoys spending time with her family.  Shannon and her husband reside in the Todd community with their two sons, Seth and Sid.
